The General Manager of Northern Railway, Shobhan Chaudhuri, held a comprehensive performance review meeting with the departmental heads and DRMs of Northern Railway to assess the progress and effectiveness of various operational aspects of Northern Railway. The meeting which took place at Baroda House was focused on passenger amenities at stations like extension of platforms, increase of level of platforms, washable aprons, provision of 2nd entry, foot over bridges, Escalators, lifts facilities for Divayangjans, improvement of station building including fa ade etc. He also reviews the progress of mobility enhancement, developmental infrastructure works, Freight loading and safety on tracks.
Apart from performance review the GM also presented Safety Awards to 7 vigilant employees for their contribution towards maintain high standards for safety and security of passengers and railway property
The General Manager also reviews the progress of projects of Doubling & New lines and instructed the concerned officials to expedite the work. He directed the departments to regularly conduct training and refresher courses for the staff to keep them motivated and informed of the working of the system to minimize human error.
The GM took stock of the freight business and asked Business Development Units to put more efforts to attract new customers and business. He also instructed that BDUs should create an environment of trust, support and confidence amongst the customers. He added that the initiatives and concessions offered by the Railways should reach the clients. He also informed that, loading of food grains & other items have steadily increased with every passing month.Northern Railway is committed to provide safe, smooth and efficient services to its customers.

Each User may set up only one user account from the same E-mail id. We do not allow Users to register multiple user accounts from the same E-mail id. We reserve the right to terminate all user accounts users may have registered with us if it is brought to our notice that the user has set up more than one user account from the same Email-id.
User must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of user account. We shall take no responsibility for any liabilities incurred because of misuse of user account or its password.
While submitting or posting any comments/ suggestions/ opinions/ feedback/ content etc. on the Platform, the user agrees and acknowledges that the User Content does not contain any confidential information and is not in violation of any third-party rights including any intellectual property rights.
User Content is not unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
We are not under any obligation of confidentiality, express or implied, regarding the User Content.
We reserve the right to use or disclose such User Content for any purpose, in any way, as we deem fit.
By posting/ submitting User Content, grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display User Content and any likeness thereof across all media formats and channels now known or later developed. Any use by the user of the Platform that violates any third-party rights, including third party intellectual property rights or rights arising out of confidentiality obligations and
any breach by the user of applicable law.
User will provide us with such assistance, without charge, as we may request in connection with any such defense including, without limitation, providing us with such information, documents, records and reasonable access to the user, as we deem necessary.
DISCLAIMERS AND WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by provisions of applicable law, the Platform is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, and Citi Update hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.
The contents available on the Platform are provided as-is. Citi Update does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the contents of the Platform. In addition to termination rights, we reserve the right to enforce and prosecute any violations of these Terms.
We may suspend access to the Platform or take such other action as may be required if we reasonably believe that the Platform has been or is likely to be misused.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. India has exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms (including any disputes regarding the existence, validity or termination of these Terms).
Dispute Resolution: If any dispute, controversy or claim arises under, out of, or in relation to these Terms, including any dispute concerning the formation, construction, interpretation, or breach of these Terms or any party’s performance of its obligations under it, such dispute shall at the first instance be attempted to be resolved through mutual good faith consultations. If the dispute is not resolved in this manner within Ninety(90) days of either party sending a notice to the other party of such dispute, then the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the provisions of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996, India. The sole arbitrator will be appointed by Citi update.
Severability:- If any provision of these Terms is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such prohibition or unenforceability shall not invalidate the remaining provisions hereof or affect the validity or enforceability of such provision in any other jurisdiction. Such provisions shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of these Terms, and the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these Terms shall remain unaffected.
Assignment:- These Terms and rights and obligations under these Terms may not be assigned, delegated, or otherwise transferred, in whole or in part, by the user, under any circumstances. Citi update may assign these Terms or any of its rights under these Terms to any third party without consent.
Notices: - Citi update may give any notice required by these Terms by means of a general notice or pop-up notification on the Platform. Such notice shall be deemed to have been given immediately upon being dispatched by Citi update. User may give notice to Citi update, by way of e-mail.

Remedies and Rights: All remedies, either under these Terms or under provisions of applicable law or otherwise shall be cumulative and not alternative. Waiver: - No delay to exercise any right, power or remedy accruing to any party, upon any breach of default of any party under these Terms, shall impair any such right, power or remedy of any party nor shall it be construed to be a waiver of any such breach or default or an acquiescence therein, or of any similar breach or default thereafter occurring. Any waiver, permit, consent or approval of any kind or character on the part of either party, of any provisions or conditions under these Terms, must be in writing and shall be effective only to the extent specifically set forth in such writing.
Modifications to Platform: - We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Platform, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. User agrees that we shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to User or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Platform.
No Agency: - anything in these Terms shall be construed as making either Citi update or user the partner, joint venture, agent, legal representative, employer or employee of the other. User will not hold out to any third party as having any authority to make any statements, representations or commitments of any kind, or to take any action that shall be binding on Citi update, except as provided for herein or authorized in writing by Citi update.

The contents available on the Platform are provided as-is. Citi Update does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the contents of the Platform. Consequently, we assume no liability whatsoever for any monetary or other damage suffered by the user on account of the delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of any data or other information transmitted in connection with the Platform; and/or any interruption or errors in the operation of the Platform.

TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if the user breaches these Terms.
In addition to termination rights, we reserve the right to enforce and prosecute any violations of these Terms.
We may suspend access to the Platform or take such other action as may be required if we reasonably believe that the Platform has been or is likely to be misused.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. India has exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms (including any disputes regarding the existence, validity or termination of these Terms).
Dispute Resolution: If any dispute, controversy or claim arises under, out of, or in relation to these Terms, including any dispute concerning the formation, construction, interpretation, or breach of these Terms or any party’s performance of its obligations under it, such dispute shall at the first instance be attempted to be resolved through mutual good faith consultations. Severability:- If any provision of these Terms is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such prohibition or unenforceability shall not invalidate the remaining provisions hereof or affect the validity or enforceability of such provision in any other jurisdiction. Such provisions shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of these Terms, and the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these Terms shall remain unaffected.
Assignment:- These Terms and rights and obligations under these Terms may not be assigned, delegated, or otherwise transferred, in whole or in part, by the user, under any circumstances. Citi update may assign these Terms or any of its rights under these Terms to any third party without consent.

No Agency: - anything in these Terms shall be construed as making either Citi update or user the partner, joint venture, agent, legal representative, employer or employee of the other.
