SEALDAH DIVISION CONDUCT SPECIAL TICKET CHECKING DRIVE ON SEALDAH–BARASAT SECTION: ENHANCING PASSENGER EXPERIENCE

Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway once again conducted a special ticket checking drive to promote awareness about ticket purchasing and ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience for passengers on the Sealdah?Barasat section. The drive was led by Jasram Meena, Sr. Divitional Commercial Manager, Sealdah.

During the drive, 282 passengers were apprehended for ticketless or irregular travel. In addition, 94 cases of unbooked luggage and 33 cases of spitting, total 409 cases were detected and fines amounting to a substantial sum of Rs. 105590 were realised.

The primary objective of this drive was to educate passengers on the importance of purchasing valid tickets and adhering to railway rules and regulations for their own convenience and safety.

Sealdah Division urged all passengers to always travel with proper tickets and cooperate with railway authorities in maintaining a disciplined and pleasant travel environment.
