Google Unveils Nano Banana Pro, Its Most Advanced AI Image Model Yet

Google DeepMind has introduced Nano Banana Pro, a next-generation AI image creation and editing model built on the Gemini 3 Pro platform. Designed for creators, marketers, and developers, the model enables users to instantly generate high-quality visuals, mockups, multilingual graphics, and detailed compositions with unmatched precision.

Unlike earlier image tools focused mainly on decorative artwork, Nano Banana Pro uses advanced reasoning and real-world knowledge to create contextually accurate images. The model can render clear, readable text within images in multiple languages?ideal for global branding, educational material, and professional designs.

Nano Banana Pro supports up to 14 input elements in a single composition, ensuring character consistency and maintaining visual coherence across complex scenes. It also offers refined editing controls such as localized adjustments, lighting refinement, camera-angle shifts, and flexible aspect ratios with output resolutions up to 4K.

The model is available inside the Gemini app, offering limited access for free users and expanded quotas for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers. It will also be integrated into Google Ads, Workspace, AI Studio, and the Gemini API, giving professional creators and enterprises wider access.

To promote transparency, Google is embedding SynthID digital watermarks into all images generated through its AI tools. These invisible markers can be verified within the Gemini app, allowing users to confirm AI-generated content.

With Nano Banana Pro, Google aims to make high-end visual creation accessible across consumer, professional, and developer platforms.
