Yogesh Kumar Srivastava Appointed as Technical Member Ernakulam Bench of Railway Claims Tribunal

Former Principal Financial Advisor of North Central Railway gets new responsibility

As per order number 2023/E(O)-II/1/7 of the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Government of India,Yogesh Kumar Srivastava, a retired officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service, has been appointed to the post of Technical Member in the Railway Claims Tribunal (RCT), Ernakulam Bench.

This appointment has been made against an existing vacancy in the Ernakulam Bench. Yogesh kumar Srivastava tenure will be for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until he attains the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier.

Yogesh Kumar Srivastava is a competent and dynamic officer of the 1988 batch of the Indian Railway Accounts Service with extensive experience in railways and administration. Before retirement, he served as Principal Financial Advisor (PFA), North Central Railway and earlier as Principal Financial Advisor, BLW/Varanasi.

During his career, he has successfully discharged various important responsibilities in Eastern Railway, North Eastern Railway, BLW and North Central Railway.yogesh kumar Srivastava worked in various capacities in North Central Railway from 2009 to 2019. He also held the charge of Principal Financial Advisor North Central Railway twice in 2018 and 2019. He started his career as Assistant Divisional Finance Manager (ADFM)/Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Division. He has comprehensive experience in every aspect of accounting functions. During his tenure as Principal Financial Advisor, BLW Varanasi, he also made a significant contribution to the preparation of the Cash and Pay Department Manual of BLW Varanasi. Besides being an administrator, he is also associated with literary works. He co-authored the heritage coffee table book (Emergence of a Legend From a Legacy) with the then Chief Public Relations Officer/North Central Railway, which was released by the General Manager North Central Railway in 2012.

Yogesh kumar Srivastava also participated in the Advanced Management Program at ICLIF, Malaysia and INSEAD, Singapore in 2007.
