MARTYRS' DAY OBSERVED AT HOWRAH DIVISION

HowrahMartyrs' Day was observed today with great reverence at the Divisional Railway Manager's (DRM) conference hall in Howrah Division of Eastern Railways. The solemn occasion marked the remembrance of the valiant souls who laid down their lives during India's struggle for independence.

Under the guidance of Sanjeev Kumar, the Divisional Railway Manager of Howrah, the entire Division came together to pay homage to the Martyrs. The event commenced with two minutes of silence, a poignant tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation's freedom.

The gathering was graced by the presence of Shri Sourish Mukherjee, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), Udai Kumar Keshri, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Administration), Harsh Garg, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer (Sr. DPO) and a host of other officers and officials from the Division.

The attendees were reminded of the immense sacrifices made by countless individuals who fought tirelessly for India's independence. Their courage, determination, and unwavering spirit paved the way for the nation's liberation from colonial rule.
